She is a bit "stoned" from her medication, so she is not fully vibrant as usual. Directly to the left is a pic of us waiting for the shuttle as we were bringing her home from the hospital. Go figure, she gets a bit dolled up in nothing other than pink. We just finished a walk around the block...not too bad for brain surgery just a week ago!

Well, I am glad to see you are out of the hospital. And yes Laura you look pretty stoned from your meds. We're still here and still praying! God is Good. Love you!

Dearest stoned, ripe, temporarily air headed friend,

What joy to get back into town and see a blog writing from YOU!!! I went to Indiana without my computer and hardly knew what to do with myself first thing in the morning and last thing at night. In fact, I may have to just continue comunicating with you every AM and PM electronically, even when you get back home!!!

I think you look great stoned! You look great no matter what! We are just so thrilled that you are up and around and talking..:)

We are going to just keep on praying like crazy for that headache to go away...Meanwhile,do not avoid taking your pain meds-we are big on praying for POOP too, in this household, as you know:) Nothing like a three year old to REALLY pray for poop!!

LOve you guys so dearly!!

Pretty as a peacock, as always. Great news about the tumor and the steps that will be taken to ZAP the "bad dudes". We miss you so much and of course continue to pray! Hugs and Love

Wow, Laura.
You have to go on record as the most dramatic "makeover"! Comparing the first picture of you, sitting with your mom and dad (and the unfortunate bruise!)....then, looking at the one with Chad: amazing!! You already have that spark coming back in your eyes (despite the narcs!) and your lip liner is flawless, as always!! Still thinking of you every day!

Love,
Lara

Laura and Chad~
It is so wonderful to hear that you are working through this in such a great spirit. You have such an amazing relationship and are so blessed to have each other.
Laura, even with a wicked headache and the best shiner I have ever seen, you look fabulous girl. I always say... when you are feelin' down just put a little lipstick on and it will make it all better :) Wish it were that easy... And tell Chad that a little funky smell from you smells like roses compared to his after Basketball stank!
We will continue to watch your progress and pray for continued recovery!
Much love, hugs and kisses to both of you.

Thinking about you all day today. We had a moment of prayer for you this evening (Lynne, Lisa H., Keary, Laura, me); feel the love that we and all these prayerful people are offering up for you! I hope you had a good appointment with Professor (too cute!) and that you are a bit closer to returning to us. Love you!
